I know I have been doing nothing but food the last couple of days. To be honest, the whole health care/town hall / who is and is not a good American thing has got me down a little bit.

BUT... feeling a little mojo rising... and will be back up to full angry liberal strength in a few....

Dinner... done right

We had a stupidly cool wet summer, and Neil was gone for a month of it, and a week plus spent at the commune, and we both got a little bit under the weather in between. THIS week IS our Summer!

Beautiful weather, warm clear and happy, so this was our VERY FIRST night that we sat out with a beverage and cooked out..

September...

Pure Summer on a plate here... slow grilled chicken, with a apple cider vinegar/lime juice/sriracha marinade , off the charts yummy!, some spicy italian sausage, fresh picked tomatoes and AND .. slow roasted- hour old - corn from our farm stand. Why-o-why did I only buy four??? So sweet, so fresh.. pretty much reason to go on living..

Seriously, I have got to take this day inside , imprint it as a happy place, so that when Winter starts ( ....... and it will, much sooner than we want ) I can get back here. Just a perfect beautiful day.
