Remember way way last week when there were TEN SEC teams in the top 25 ?
Arkansas lost what should have been a cake walk to Toledo.
Coulda been a contender TENNESSEE lost a heart breaker to Oklahoma
and can't really fault the Mississippi State lost to a better LSU.
All three teams exit the top 25 this week.
( Going with AP this week , UGA is one higher )
- Ohio State
- ALABAMA
- TCU
- Michigan State
- Baylor
- USC
- GEORGIA
- Notre Dame
- Florida State
- UCLA
- Clemson
- Oregon
- LSU
- Georgia Tech
- OLE MISS
- Oklahoma
- TEXAS A&M
- AUBURN
- BYU
- Arizona
- Utah
- MISSOURI
- Northwestern
- Wisconsin
- Oklahoma State
Whoa Nellie as the Auburn Tigers drop like a stone after WINNING this past weekend. Sure, it was in double secret overtime against .... Jacksonville State ( not a clue ) and on National TV and all, could have been much much worse for the War Damn Plaintigers.
Notre Dame did not look like such a powerhouse in what I was watching and I know nothing of USC and UCLA this year, although I did find out this weekend that we get PAC 10 tv - so if I want I can watch some late late games this season.
#2 Alabama in a grudge match with the Ole Miss Rebels this Saturday, a team that beat them last year. Dont see that happening again. USC at Stanford, who got off to a bad start, but is never a push over for any of the west coast teams. Michigan State has Air Force. TCU has SMU, which I thought was a girls school or got their football team taken away or something - either way dont see any real chance for UGA to move up this coming week
