A little happy game day morning surprise.

Yall all know that I live my life not in rose colored glasses - but more of a deep garnet. It's a gift, I don't question it. So, yes - I tend to only read or look for stories that support my own world view .
Huffington Post Political is NOT a place I go to often, cause they are not - garnet enough! Woke up to this today:

The Post Bump Universe

•  A DARK BLUE OHIO ? - that was fast
• Only TWO toss up states? Both of which should go to President Obama - and neither of which will matter.
• The odd pink the deep South ? - that is just the lack of enthusiasm

The Republicans has a horrible convention, lies and a crazy old man . The Democrats went to the same well they had in 2008 and pulled out a little bit of that old magic. Night and Day - Success and Failure.

The President took off like a rocket after Charlotte ( the reason you have a convention ) and is coming back down to earth a bit - again, what is supposed to happen, but look what else is happening:

President Obama comes down from the stratosphere a bit as Governor Romney falls off a cliff. 

When this scenario happens to a Democrat, they rally the wagons and pump the candidate up as much as possible, the GOP throw theirs to the wolves. If this keeps up - and part of me , says it won't - that there is something in Romney that will turn this around, but if it does.. if these numbers do not improve, the GOP down ticket folks will turn on him like Donners in the snow.

Brown in Maine, Allen in Virginia - even that freak show in Connecticut - and others - will start running against the head of their ticket , causing the train wreck of the Romney/Ryan ticket to go down even faster...

How long do they have?  Two , three weeks tops.
