42 - 26
Yeah, well - this happened.
#25 and undefeated Missouri rolled into the Classic City to face the once beaten #7 and hopeful Bulldawgs on an all but perfect mid October day. Things were a bit grim tween the hedges from the get go as a big chunk of the starting team was not dressed out from the game - either out for the season, or just not well yet....." On any given Saturday "
Down 18 at one point , the Dawgs pulled within two - only to go down hard. I think we had 400 turn overs and the , I believe Tigers ( just a lucky guess - who isn't ) had just zero ones. That along with the banged up players did us way way in. Funny thing is , as GLUED to the whole game day thing as I normally am - I can not tell you another of today's scores - does not really matter now. It's all about beating Florida !
Oh, cries of "SEC" and "December in Atlanta" will rally the short timers - thinking that another ass whooping by Bama is what we need. Nope, just have enjoyed the first half of the season, deal with the devil on the St John's ( and the Gnats ) then close your eyes and think of England - along with plotting full out revenge on the Clempsons next year.
I have not even been to the newspapers yet , just not ready for the sofa and beer qb's railing against the real coaches. We got beat - fair and square, not a whole lot to read into it.
