The day that wasn't

 I'm still not one hundred percent behind this naming of winter storms, but I spent my day with a blizzard named Vulcan. After a slightly beer soaked night , I woke up 9ish to sideways snow. It is now 10:28pm and there is still a whole lot of sideways snow, the only difference between now and this morning is that the temp has tanked - going down to about zero.  A lot of snow. Everything here closed today, schools, stores, whole malls - everything shut down, never really seen it like this before. Hope not to again, turns out I do not like blizzards.

It was just to nasty to really go out at all today. It was not just snow but wind blown ice pellets in your face - even Koda did not really want to be out in it.
