On Yom Kippur the college football world decided to go all Passover : " Why is this night different from all the others ".....

The crash stated on Thursday night in a game that I missed with the #2 or 3 Oregon Ducks going down to the an unrated Arizona , I guess it stated a tidal wave. 

Boom Boom Boom  No. 3 Alabama, No. 4 Oklahoma, No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 8 UCLA all lost this week. The only other time four of the Associated Press poll's top six teams lost in the same week was Nov. 3, 1990, when No. 1 Virginia, No. 3 Nebraska, No. 4 Auburn and No. 5 Illinois all lost. It's the first time five of the AP poll's top eight teams lost in the same week.

I do not have a clue how things will be in two weeks when the Literati all get together and pick their four, will it be a top 25 of just the four?

THE AP POLL IS VERY DIFFERENT

Biggest night in Mississippi football  history - and a pretty amazing game to watch , at least ole miss / bama was. Gameday was in Oxford for the very first time ever this past weekend and this weekend will make it two in a row as they hit Starkville for the first time ever.  #6 fairy tale Mississippi against #2 Auburn - it will be one for the ages, MORE COWBELL!  Ole Miss has Texas A&M

UGA is at Missouri a SEC ON CBS early game, noon kick off  -I think.
