So, today was the first appointment with the surgeon , if that is the treatment that we decide to go with. Met with a lovely PA first who could not have been more nice, answering every question that we had and some we did not know we had. Really everyone in this new office , at least to us, was as kind as they could be.
Mr. actual Doctor swooped in afterwards, " did all your questions get answered " ? Yes, yes. He was very nice too, just did not spend as much time as his assistant, which is fine - his time saved for the robots in the OR. We still have to meet with the radiation folks - they want you to cover all your bases, get all the info you can before making the final decision.
A date has been penciled in for July, post all Neil's trips and time for a couple of medical things that have to be done before you go under. I at least, am still feeling very positive about this - and the Doctors not being in any rush is helping with that. Both doctors that we met with asked our personal histories with prostate cancer, who we knew etc. Jimmy's name got mentioned a few times.

Just hit me like a ton of bricks, I guess just lack of sleep and pent up emotions. Totally different situations, almost like a totally different disease - just made me sad for a bit. Fine now. I did love seeing this photo .
