So yesterday for the first time this year, Mendon got above freezing - dancing in the streets, right ? Wrong - 33º + means thaw, and that, in January is bad. It is not going to stay above freezing for long - that was the only time it will be for the next week or so - and when it does get colder - all that newly melted water becomes winters enemy : ICE. Then it snows a little and covers up where these icy patches are - just makes for some iffy walks.
