OSCAR ! - the morning after

UPDATED AT LONG LAST

All in all I thought the show was more than just a little flat - not sure why, maybe just to much for NHP to pull off - OR that it started off on such a snarky tone, which might be fine for TV or even BROADWAY, but this is the Academy Awards. We come to the Oscars because we love the movies, and want them to be lionized and praised, not cut down in a cheap tawdry way. A lot of his shtick just plain old did not work....

I was totally fine with all the winners , and losers, save that one song I really wanted to win, but then the world would have been deprived of Chris Pine's lone TV Indian like single tear. Nothing jaw droopingly tragic on the red carpet - there are so so many fashion blogs now, not like when the k=b first kicked off.....

 We had a lovely time over at Dahn and David's

 I swear they have more snow than we do

and Koda had a great time playing with his buddies
