The Horror ... the horror

From this afternoons Huffpo - yeah, like it's an old school daily : Turns out the guy who does those Papa John's tv commercials is really like their CEO. I may have known that - or he was the son of Billy Mays, something.
So, he owns the joint. Today is he OUTRAGED ! Outraged I tell you because the Black Death like  Soviet style evil that is Obamacare is going to raise his per pizza cost !! Which he will have to pass on to the downtrodden pizza buying public.

"Papa John's CEO John Schnatter says thatObamacare will result in a $0.11 to $0.14 price increase per pizza, or $0.15 to $0.20 cents per order, Pizza Marketplace, a trade publication, reports. 

Under Obamacare, the company, which is the third-largest pizza takeout and delivery chain in the United States, will have to offer health care coverage to more of its 16,500 total employees or pay a penalty to the government.

THE OUTRAGE!  and the guy is seriously all up in arms. Some pizza owning troll in Texas has this to say :

“I have two options, I can stop offering coverage and pay the $2,000 fine, or I could keep my number of staff under 50 so the mandate doesn't apply,” she told Legal Newsline. 

One Papa John's franchise owner in Texas, Judy Nichols, says the law could interfere with her ability to open more restaurants.

Oddly I see a third options, take 11 to 14 cents per pizza less in profit OR just charge A QUARTER more per pie! what is wrong with you people! 

For 25¢'s a pizza you could have given thousands of people health insurance ?!?  And you had to have the government MAKE You do it - and you are bitching about it.

What a country....
