The Oscar Nominations came out today. For some reason I was not super excited, could be the writers strike,( really, can the government get to work on this and not that whole silly subprime lending thing!) could be that i haven't seen that much this year, who knows, BUT, lets get on to what's really important: what we can expect on the RED CARPET!- the wives/girlfriends/babymama's:
- Mrs. Johnny Depp has in the past looked lovely, a little cutting edge, but at least not boring
- Viggo Mortensen could ALWAYS take Brenda, she does live in LA and they did have that very tender foot moment
- MRS HAL HOLBROOK-omg-JUILA SUGARBAKER herself on the red carpet! be still my beating heart!
- not sure of the rest
- Best Actress:
- Cate Blachett :LOVE her red carpet looks, and what, she is like 6'1 or somthing.VERY excited
- Julie Chrisite : SO freaking beautiful, cant wait to see her!
- Marion Cotillard : not a clue
- Laura Linney : Can look lovely, but, can also sometime get the Meryl-serious-actress disease
- Ellen Page : Juno was one of the two movies I saw, LOVED her, liked the movie, Very good move for her, lets hope for the best fashion wise ( someone give her Tim Gun's #)
- Supporting Actress:
- Cate Blanchett, Again : She should get to wear two dresses!
- Ruby Dee : Im sure she will look lovely
- Saoirse Ronan : not ao clue
- Amy Ryan : again, not a clue
- Tilda Swinton : the perfect trifecta of not a clue.
