Started the day off with some French toast and a Mimosa -
Then got down to the brass tacks of the day:
LUCK AND MONEY
Steve did the green egg slow cooked pork roast which was just outstanding. I did the rest :
- Black eyed peas done with smoke pork jowl and root veggies and chili
- Mix of greens : Beet, Tuscan Kale, Mustard and Turnip done with bacon and a lot of onions ( carrot, garlic ) I did not do collards this year due to cooking time.
- Roasted Golden Beets ( bought for the greens )
- Sweet Potatoes with brown Sugar and Orange
- White Rice
- Asian Garlic Chili Sauce
FOOTBALL !
