HAPPY NEW YEAR !


Started the day off with some French toast and a Mimosa -

Then got down to the brass tacks of the day:

LUCK AND MONEY

Steve did the green egg slow cooked pork roast which was just outstanding. I did the rest :
  • Black eyed peas done with smoke pork jowl and root veggies and chili
  • Mix of greens : Beet, Tuscan Kale, Mustard and Turnip done with bacon and a lot of onions ( carrot, garlic ) I did not do collards this year due to cooking time.
  • Roasted Golden Beets ( bought for the greens )
  • Sweet Potatoes with brown Sugar and Orange
  • White Rice
  • Asian Garlic Chili Sauce
