Minnesota House Passes Marriage Equality!
From the Minneapolis Star Tribune :Amid a thundering backdrop of cheers and prayers, the Minnesota House on Thursday took a historic step toward legalizing same-sex marriage.
The measure passed 75-59 with resounding DFL support and votes from four Republicans. The measure now goes to the Senate on Monday, where passage is considered likely. If approved and signed into law, Minnesota would become the 12th state to legalize same-sex marriage.
