He’s not neglecting his core values; he defends his progressive vision with vigorous integrity. But for him, American unity - transcending party - is a core value in itself."
This is part of the endorsement from THE STATE newspaper in Columbia, the rest of it is here. This is just all well and good, really, i get it, Goodness and Light. BUT: Why will the people/forces/groups that will fight this "new wave of all out political warfare, NOT do so with ANY Democratic President? Am i just missing something? Will the taintless glory that is Barack Obama make the right wing simply fade away? They will just give up the battle on everything that they stand for?
Or, will we just be electing someone with no experience in fighting this fight?
