about today.

We came in from this beautiful Spring day, Neil was out in the yard so the tv was not on... come here and the news. Boston this time - file Newtown away. Boston now. I lived through all of this in Atlanta in 1996. A lesbian bar " our side would never bomb the other side ", a double bomb at an abortion clinic on Roswell Road, just about a mile from where I was working. Then that night in Centennial Park - the ONLY night that we were not down there and a bit later another abortion clinic in Birmingham, all from the same waste of skin.

Made the mistake of clicking on some sites early on to some un edited photos - bad bad bad, I hope you did not come across them today. News that an eight year old child was the first to die - you fill a bomb with nails and such, it is head level for a little kid - yeah, your cause was worth it.

Tax Day, Timothy McVay and all, so your first , my first thought is some home grown anti government type - but who knows. You can't really think some big league terrorist would do something so " small ".

Are we numb to it - we will move on tomorrow - sun up /down etc. You know a big to do for a few weeks - Red Sox around the country, hats off and cheers " We are all Boston now ", but we were all Newtown yesterday, Aurora before that... on and on and on. Am I numb? Seems far away, television does that, or the number of times it happens - will change when there are faces to the data.

All the Bostonians have said today that Patriot day is their best day - Spring just kicking in, like here - no one has to work, baseball and the marathon - happy happy happy , why do these people hate it so much. Joy as pain - so hard to wrap your head around. Wears you down and out -

As always " what can you do "....

My answer is just be nice to one another - be there for one another, that guy , and you know it was a man, hates fun, have more of it. I know more than about fear than I wish I did - but hold it at bay.

Boston is such a lovely town. We have been there a few times, and always had fun, will just have to do it again , soon.
