We were supposed to go to the baseball game today - but it was just too chilly/windy ( really freezing for the Redwings is just not that much fun ) SO - our pal Jack, who is bacheloring it for a bit came down to see us, instead of us going to see him at the game.
We will make our own summer!
Getting a little bit Southern
( blame the pbs series )
- grilled ham steaks
- beet and kale greens
- mixed rices
- summer squash casserole ( and I made it differently, it came out great )
- field peas
- pear salad
I cooked lots and it was mostly all gone, a good thing!
