Still, Still Alice

Getting the odds on favorite BEST ACTRESS 2015 in just under the wire, we hit STILL ALICE this snowy afternoon. Yes, if there is any justice at all JULIANNE MOORE will at last get her OSCAR.

It is a very well everythinged small film in which Ms. Moore, a very successful college professor at Columbia gets the early onset Alzheimer's - it's a fell good romp. The movie goes out of its way to make sure that you know she has some sort of special even-someone-as-germaphobic-as-Kyle-is-not-going-to-get-on-the-drive-home.

IF you are dealing with this , with a loved one in your life, I would not see this film, it is just too spot on to realistic, not a whole lot of sugar coating going on here. Other than their fabulous upper upper west side town home and a great beach house where she walks the beach in bean boots.

The funny thing is Jullanne Moore has never ever looked more beautiful in a film - and she looses everything . I am glad we saw it.

Also from the NYT a very interesting / heart tugging story about the two men , a couple, who made this film.
