The Kindness of Strangers

 So, this lady shows up in our back garden yesterday - not that big of a deal, it happens often this time of year. Turns out she is a professional artist and pals with our neighbor - would we mind if she did a drawing of Neil's garden.
" Gosh no, not at all ! " She walked around for a long time - before settling in this sort of odd spot at the bottom of a bern under a big maple tree, where she sets up her easel - Boom boom boom, Bobs your uncle and less than an hour later she did this amazing super detailed pastel drawing of all the flowers - AND GIVES IT TO NEIL!

his best to pay her, but she said no, just spread the word to your gardening buddies! Such a nice lady and a lovely gift!
