Palm Sunday


A quick grits and sausage casserole
There should be two eggs in this photo
Angela brought me some GOOD stone ground grits when she came up, 
they are being saved for something more special...
slowly cook your peppers and onions, 
had it not been for old Episcopalians, I would have added a chili

4 - 1 liquid to grits. This is just water and whole milk, 
would have used chicken stock and milk, but I did not have any.
This is 8/2. 

add sausage and garlic, spices ( cumin, old bay, salt, pepper, 
a tiny bit of red pepper flakes ) when sausage is cooked
 just dump this in the cooked grits.
Add half the cheese and two beaten eggs when cooled a little bit,check for seasoning - rest of the cheese on top.
Into a WELL sprayed pan 400ยบ till bubbly...

they inhaled this.
getting your aspergillum on!

a frost again last night, but things appear to be holding up.
