It turns out there is something called the Kids Choice Awards and some singer/actor/model called Tyler Swift or something, these kids today with their goofy ass names...
ANYWAY, FASHION GODDESS IN THE MAKING, our very own FIRST LADY went to said awards to give little Tyler a special pat on the head wearing this:

Seriously twenty something pop star, when the First Lady is kicking your proverbial ass fashion wise, you are dressing a bit too Disney Princess.... to put it in the lingo of the streets: Michelle is ROCKING the KCA!
Come on , you are taking your teen age daughters to an event like this WHY NOT be the coolest mother there ! ( I mean you already had the best ride )
The silver embellished hounds tooth print tunic/blazer is from the Spring 2012 collection from ATLANTA NATIVE and LOVETT GRAD :Wes Gordon. FLOTUS altered it for , well a First Lady, but still looks FANTASTIC.

Let's hope the VERY young Mr. Gordon remembers his Southern upbringing and had a muffin basket waiting at the WH when Michelle and the girls got home!
