I am VERY unhappy with Democratic Congresswoman Kathy Hochul, who post redistricting will become, hopefully, MY new congress person. She pretty much trounced the GOP guy she was running against last time in the affluent Buffalo suburbs, nailing the guy with the Ryan budget cuts to Medicare. But now, her district is more rural ( its more urban for me ) and she is going off all ALL sorts of wild tangents, going as far as voting to hold AG  Eric Holder in contempt, fear of the NRA even in Western, New York.
I went all mean girl on her facebook page, but in the end will hold my nose and vote for her. I would have any way, BUT her GOP challenger, Chris Collins, just this week said this: ( on why Obama care is bad )
" GOP congressional candidate Chris Collins knows health care is expensive these days, but he argues it's for good reason: People are no longer dying from deadly forms of cancer. "People now don't die from prostate cancer, breast cancer and some of the other things," he told The Batavian in an interview that was flagged Tuesday by City & State NY. Collins was discussing his desire to repeal Obamacare. "The fact of the matter is, our healthcare today is so much better, we're living so much longer, because of innovations in drug development, surgical procedures, stents, implantable cardiac defibrillators, neural stimulators -- they didn't exist 10 years ago," he continued. "The increase in cost is not because doctors are making a lot more money. It's what you can get for healthcare, extending your life and curing diseases.

Yes, you sack of hammers, folks who get early and preventive care, IE OBAMACARE survive SOMETIMES....
Also, the GOP tells the lie all the time about how HORRIBLE things are in Canada and how Canadians are lined up at the boarder coming for health care...Wont really work here..
