WEEK 13

DONE
59 - 17

Final game 'tween the hedges of the year. Senior night - and a quasi black out, on what looked like quite a chilly late November evening. Our Bulldogs sort of limped into this one, after the roller coaster of the last few weeks and living with the nagging afterthoughts of the " season that could have been ".
Unquestioned star of the night was senior Quarterback Aaron Murray, and it was a very deserved honor. Getting off to a
GOLDBURG! and MURRAY
Getting off to a rocket ship start the dogs were up like 21 - 0 when one fluke play gave the Wildkittys 7. BUT, early in the game the man of the night went down hard on his knee and had to be helped off the field and from all reports strait up Baxter to St. Marys for an MRI, so so so not the way anyone wanted Mr. Murray's time at UGA to end.
Our pal David who LIVES in Lexington, like a mile from the campus AND whose husband is a UK grad was a very good sport about it all!

When Koda and I first went out this morning it was a BEAUTIFUL day, clear crisp and bright blue - just as close to a perfect early Winter day as you would get.

This being upstate New York, you wait a couple of hours -
Very breezy and the temp dropped like a rock, not going to be above freezing for a few days , I don't think.

Strange day , entertaining wise, what with the 50th Dr Who and all hitting mid day.So picture less eggs and pigs in a blanket to welcome the Tardis!

A reasonable tailgate for the game

  • bbq
  • Methodist beans
  • cabbage and apple slaw
  • chips
  • pineapple
