The world is getting back to normal after a little summer madness, Sunday Night PBS !
Which is turns out started last week - do not know how we missed it , what we were doing/watching. But thanks to PBS.COM or what ever its called on Apple tv we got a double dose of everything tonight!
THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF
Y'all know this is a favorite of mine, Paul Hollywood and I are an item. I saw what I guess was a re cap of last week thinking it was starting this week - got all excited, but Dahn told me is had started the week before. SO, we got to watch two episodes at once. Was a bit confused at first as at least on of the tent dwellers this season was here before... but they were not talking about it, or I missed them saying some were repeats.
A most fun show, you will be surprised how much you get into it it.
ARTHUR and GEORGE
A very clever riff on Sherlock Holmes - this time it Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his secretary doing the mystery solving. Its only a three parter so one and two tonight, but the mystery was very good, not a clue how its going to play out, and a great twist at the end!
