DINNER

( Fifties/ Forties )

A lot of pictures, I know - but I think this restaurant , that has been here for like 80 years, is just a trip. I like it more than Neil does. We had a Groupon - it was cheap.
Pick any early Mad Men show and that is the date this restaurant is stuck in. Yeah, not something you would want often, but once in a while I think it is all the fun. All the waitress are dressed like Hazel.
You could order off the regular menu, but on Saturday nights they have an all you can eat buffet
Relish Tray, deviled eggs and a big bowl of cottage cheese

Shrimp Cucumber Salad and the bread that the restaurant is famous for, cheese, crackers cookies and fruit ( in hollowed out pineapples )
 Orange Dream Congealed Salad
w/ whipped cream and tiny marshmallows

" Prime Rib " Fried " Shrimp " and broccoli salad

This is my second plate, #1 was all fish and shrimp in sauces Newburg and A la King - really

All you could eat king crab legs -
When the waiter sees  you getting crab he brings you over the kit
dessert cart - there were others, these are the ones that were not refrigerated
my dessert - molasses cookies and the orange dream!
Neil had a home made angle food cake with brûléed seven min frosting.
So it was like a toasted marshmallow

We closed the place down, at 8:30.. but its rocking at 5:30
