At the start of all this, before Christmas , 6 1/2 weeks in the deep depths of an upstate New York winter seems daunting. But! today was our final day of radiation at Highland hospital. All my hand wringing , and we only missed one day due to weather, and our appointment was canceled that day anyway ( no one could get out )
Everyone there was so very nice to us over the last six weeks that we took in some cookies for the Doctors and staff. Neil wrote a nice card.
Our last trip - well , for a while, there are some follow up things.
We won't know any real answers until October at the earliest , but our wonderful doctor says that Neil is really doing great. He feels fine, we will be most happy to put this one behind us, it will be one calendar year since we got the first phone call on March 19th.
