As if SIX HOURS OF GERMAN OPERA 
( and a pizza ) 
was not enough
I made him a lovely dinner.
( He said he wanted Scallops )
 Seared Scallops and Shrimp w/
ginger soba, spinach and walnuts.

This was good, if I do say so myself.

  • For the Ginger Vinaigrette:
  • 1/4 cup finely minced ginger root - just chop it up and put it in the blender....
  • 1 T. finely minced garlic - again, its going in the blender, dont do the chopping
  • 1/2 cup  olive oil or grapeseed oil - anything really
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice and a little zest
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or honey
  • ( I think I added a little bit of heat...)
  • 1 t. white miso - i added a little bit more...
