Last night was the final nail in Ronald Reagan's coffin. RIP and RIG - but good riddance. Ever four years the talking heads, tv and print, throw around historic, of our lifetime, game changer - this time, for the first time, they were right.
Thanks for coming angry old straight white guys - but your time is up.

Totally shocking that in 2012, math and science won out over the banal feelings of dinosaurs like Peggy Noonan and George Will. The regular Fox crowd now just comes off as a total dog and pony show, not even worth naming them. IT IS NOT 1980 anymore as shocking as that is for you.
George Will went as far as saying that the "evangelicals " in Minnesota would rally over the marriage amendment to shove Romney to the White House - wrong and wrong.
The GOP has not won a national election with out a BUSH on the ticket in twenty eight years. Yeah, are a few more out there , but are they a party or a dynasty ?
What I was looking for last night :
- The White House - Done
- Senator Gillibrand - Done
- Local - total mixed bag , with some highlights. Rochester handily reelected Louise Slaughter, but our newly GOP gerrymandered district went Republican by like 4000 votes. It is the real only deeply red area of NY State. Our local state senator switched to Democrat.
- Democrats kept the Senate
- Gays, which we have already addressed.
The Republicans have a problem, as Lindsey Grahmn said today, " there are not enough angry Southern males to elect us " .
93% of African Americans voted for Barack Obama
71% of Latinos voted for Barack Obama
60% of the " youth vote " voted for Barack Obama
55% of the female vote was for Barack Obama ( can not believe this one was not higher. )
Four more years !!
