GOLDEN GLOBES

We went over to Dahn and David's to watch, as we always do with award shows, save the Tony's.. dont really know why we dont go for the Tonys But anyway, Dahn made a lovely sort of mixed supper and we settled down to watch.

I really did not have a huge dog in this hunt OTHER THAN, I wanted the actress from BROOKLYN to win, or for the movie Brooklyn to win something, I loved it that much. The night before we had watched DANNY COLLINS, and I said before we started , I dont really like Al Pachino movies, he always plays Al Pachino. In this one he does not and he was very good, so I was also hoping that he would win. I got NOTHING right all night , not the first award.
And then the cherry on the Sunday, I knew NONE of the television shoes, really NONE. One GOT and one Mad Men - other than that I was lost as some robot in the jungle with I dont know what..
We can get to some fashion - and for a change there WAS some in a day or so. There is a lot going on these days!
