OSCAR! OSCAR !! OSCAR !!!

Up with the chickens, second time this week I have just WOKE UP with the sunrise - may be a nap in my future. BUT, got to see the OSCAR nominations .

RED we have seen.
Surprises are Charlotte Rampling for 45 Years, a movie that I had not even heard of AND all the accolades for the silly and close to unwatchable Mad Max. Very happy that Brooklyn got a not for best picture.
All that said, the best movie I saw this year was Star Wars , I really dont understand why it could not have been given a nod. I think we missed ROOM , unless it is brought back and I won't see Hateful Eight. I didn't want to see The Revenant, which Neil went to on his own last week, but now might.
