To be an Eskimo

It snowed really hard all morning - lake effect from Ontario, as a rule does not make it this far south.
The most cotton candy of snows.. huge flakes colliding as they tumbled making silent cotton balls all around us. Very cold, and the snow stays intact as it hits the ground making the walk so very airy.

So many people bash winter , first tip of white and they dream of sand not their own window. But they miss the point. Winter has its place, bringing you down and inward, relishing the purity of a new coat of white. Like a page, ready for anything.
