Crushed, Mangled, Destroyed, Mutilated, beaten, showed up, whooped

UGA - 45
AU - 7
( and, really, it was not that close )

GLORY GLORY!

Auburn was always my favorite home game. The fans were NO WHERE near as obnoxious as Tennessee , and half of Atlanta are alumni. What a most fun afternoon, as the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry came back between the hedges. National tv and what seemed like every friend I have on facebook there, the Northern most outpost of the BDN was ready. After the rocky start that Georgia had and the horrible week that every college football fan had, this was just the tonic that we all needed.

BG and I did some research , AND from the best that we can tell this was the first time since 1981 that UGA beat all three orange teams in the same season. ( Turns out we used to not play Tennessee all that much, pre SEC PLAYOFF's - and we have only beat FLA what, three times in the last 22 years or something.... )

Bringing us to tonight's
BCS

1 LSU (10-0)
2 Oklahoma State (10-0)
3 Alabama (9-1)
4 Oregon (9-1)
5 Oklahoma (8-1)
6 Arkansas (9-1)
7 Clemson (9-1 )
8 Virginia Tech (9-1)
9 Stanford (9-1)
10 Boise State (8-1)
11 Houston (10-0)
12 South Carolina (8-2)
13 Kansas State (8-2)
14 Georgia (8-2)
15 Michigan State (8-2)
16 Nebraska (8-2)
17 Wisconsin (8-2)
18 Michigan (8-2)
19 TCU (8-2)
20 Southern Miss (9-1)
21 Penn State (8-2)
22 Baylor (6-3)
23 Texas (6-3)
24 Auburn (6-4)
25 Florida State (7-3)

Two unbeatens went down, the smarty pants Stanford and the boys in blue, Boise State , losing at home for the first time in three thousand years. All of the Roll Tide Nation is ceaselessly praying as one 'that Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State on December 5th,  with out leapfroging the one loss Alabama for a re-match in New Orleans. LSU still has to geaux through the mighty hogs of Arkansas this season, and we need to clear the hapless Cats of Kentucky to get our shot at LSU in the SEC playoff.
For a season that started out so darn sucky for us, things have very much turned around!  NOT too much Jesus and not enough football, at all. We could very easily finish the regular season top 10... and a pretty good bowl.
