No damn class in the Classic City

The good folks in Athens are rightfully upset tonight as the powers that be are steamrolling plans to build BIG ASS WALMART right in downtown Athens. 

 This is a better view of where they want to put this

Let's start this off with letting you know that I am not your patchouli wearing anti Walmart type. I LOVE getting a years supply of Tide for eleven dollars, and the nine pound bag of animal crackers that is 1.88 just jumps into my buggy every time I walk in the place, but the mega stores have their place, and historic down town Athens Ga, pretty much ON the UGA campus is NOT one of these places.
