Screw You, Wisconsin!

It's a Tuesday in an election year!
Raise high the roof beams.....

The be all and the end all of any possible political discussion to be held in the United States this year was the recent smack down of the Democrats in Wisconsin.

So, what about the 10 - 1 money difference.. LISTEN to Mittens, the people of America have awoken!

Yeah, well slow down there Mr. Moneybags!

NORTH DAKOTA
( go ahead, find it on a map! )

Let's see.. its cold, there are these floods.... Mt Rushmore may or may not be there.....Surely the reddest of the red states... again, I really have no idea - they have THREE electoral votes, let them vote for a Yeti for all I care.
Election night in North Dakota, MUST be something like Hockey Night in Canada. Let's zoom in on two ballot measures from way up there .

Measure Two
From the Grover Norquist is my God camp we get this little gem of a referendum.
Eliminate all North Dakota property taxes and give the power to fund local towns, cities  and counties to the State Government, the money coming from oil revenues. One more time.... take away all local control of your city and town, give it to one Republican in , what ever the hell the capital of North Dakota is - he will then take these taxes on the oil companies and hand it out to these cities and counties - in what ever way he or she sees fit.....The anti tax folks here raised 132 times as much money as the pro tax crowd.... 132x !!
WHO does not hate taxes, this is such a no brainer..... Americans HATE  taxes Fox news tells us so every hour on the hour.

 No Taxes  /  Yes: 28,226 (22.83%)
TAX ME! /   No: 95,410 (77.17%)

Measure Three
This one is not really as cut and dry, black and white. Measure three is a constitutional amendment  "  Called the Religious Liberty Restoration amendment, the measure would add a clause to the state constitution stipulating that the government must have a "compelling interest" in order to "burden" a person whose actions or decisions are informed by religious belief and that the government should use the "least restrictive means to further that interest."
Backers, which include the Roman Catholic diocese and a coalition of conservative groups in North Dakota, say the measure predates the current fight that erupted earlier this year when the Obama administration instituted new rules requiring most employers – including religious charities, hospitals, and universities – to provide employees cost-free access to reproductive health services. Conservative social organizations and national Republican strategists have seized on those rules as a way to rally opposition to President Obama's reelection bid.
Tom Freier, president of the North Dakota Family Alliance, says his group first began crafting its language more than two years ago, partly in response to 1990 US Supreme Court ruling that some groups viewed as an infringement on some religious practices. "It's like flood protection: Are you going to wait until the flood to get the protection? There are situations, maybe they're not as great as in some other places, but they are needed and the time to do it is right now," he says. Opponents, however, which include Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and an array of local social service organizations, have called the measure an attempt to codify workplace discrimination on the basis of religion. The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead newspaper termed the amendment, "an attempted ecclesiastical mugging."
Blah blah blah... If ANYTHING the Government does goes against your personal religious views, you don't have to do it....Again, this is America, we LOVE Jesus, HATE Planned Parenthood, etc...
This one is going down hard as well :" With 70 percent of precincts reporting, voters said no to Measure 3 by a 64.5 percent to 35.4 percent margin. The Associated Press called the Measure 3 race at approximately 10:15 p.m. '
Raise my taxes and keep your  religion to yourself.......
They also voted to allow the state university to change its mascots name to something other than THE FIGHTING SIOUX... something that the GOPers in the state house tried to block... seriously folks, JOBS JOBS JOBS!

ARIZONA

In the special election to replace Gabby Giffords, who is leaving Congress to recover from that horrible attack on her last year, it was Democrat Ron Barber, a Giffords staffer who was injured in the attack as well v some dick weed of a hater Republican named something... hold on....Kelly Jessie.... no, that's wrong, Jessie Kelly...either way it's two girls names. Again, Mr. Jessie was rolling in that out of state citizens united money....
The people are angry and fired up. ARIZONA, home of GOP Valkyrie, that tea party finger wagger : Jan Brewer.

w/88% + early voting
RON BARBER  -  98590/52.45%
Kelly Jessie   -  84995/45.22%

Am assuming the SUN DEVILS are just fine, but you really never can tell with these religious nut jobs running around out there.

You never heard such a caterwaul post Wisconsin. FOX and Friends etc screaming from the roof tops how this was nothing but bad omens for President Obama. I may have to get up early in the am to see how this one is spun.....
