WEEK 13

DONE
34 -7
( but it was not that close )

The deep souths oldest rivalry! Coming into tonights game after playing since 1892 with a record of 55-54 and 9 . The Bulldawgs first home game in 42 days - and at night. Add to this the return of star running back Todd Gurly and the stage was set for a humdinger!

Right off the bat AU scored on their opening possession, were we looking at the horror of Jacksonville all over again?? Then they kicked the ball off to us - and Todd Gurly ran it all the way back. Yes,there was a flag and it did not count, but still - we answered. And kept it up the whole game.

A beautiful morning to get our football day started, yes that is some little spots of snow on the ground, and yes, I need to rake.
The last real tailgate of the season, as the next two kick offs are noon - and I am not a huge fan of the early game ( I was almost late today for a 7:15 kickoff ) So, classic old school tailgate fare.

  •  DEVILED EGGS
  • PIMENTO CHEESE SANDWICHES
  • FRIED CHICKEN
  • MEATY BEANS
  • COLE SLAW
  • BROCCOLI SALAD
  • Pumpkin Cake ( not traditional, but easy )

GLORY GLORY!
