I have knocked so much wood today!
I have told y'all before that Mendon lies in a little magic pocket of no lake effect ( so far ) to far east for Erie, to far south for Ontario. We needed all that magic today as the bottom fell out of Lake Erie, ON Buffalo and its surroundings. This map is in real time, as in IT IS STILL SNOWING! so the places that have the 70+ inches of snow are getting more. Some hard core winter crazy.
Its so early that there are lots of leaves still on trees.
We were the last open exit on the thruway, until Pennsylvania border, lots and lots of stranded people.
