For the first time and maybe the last , I wanted DANCING WITH THE STARS tonight. There to support out and proud and unemployed Michael Sam . The show did not dance around who he was or anything, even showing the now famous kissing scene as he got THE phone call - so good for them, I guess.
It is not a rare thing for football players to be on the show , UGA's Hines Ward won the whole darn thing at some point. Turns out the show has been on for TEN YEARS, with two a year!
The dancing they are good at , the stars not so much, not a clue who most of these folks were, but I am guessing that a bit portion of the DWTS crowd did not know from Michael Sam either . I really had no idea who was the dancer and who was the star in most of the couples.
Some of this show is really really bad, and the whole missmash of people is just odd. From 70 yo DIVE Patti Labelle to a double amputee from the war - and out and proud Michael Sam. Many faceless others.

( but really team Noah Galloway , the wounded vet, just for having more moxie than the rest of us combined - or maybe Team Patti ...)
