Another day, another Kate Middleton wedding dressmaker rumor! "This time, it's kind of one we wish would come true -- the Sunday Times of London claims Alexander McQueen Creative Director Sarah Burton has been tasked with designing The Dress. The rest of the British newspapers and, of course, Twitter really went to town with this one -- even Telegraph Fashion Director Hilary Alexander seemed psyched, saying, "If this is true it's the best news the fashion industry has had in a long time. It is desperately in need of an injection of fabulousness in the wake of the whole John Galliano scandal."However, Burton squelched the speculation, telling Vogue UK, "I am not doing it," and McQueen CEO Jonathan Akeroyd, who was said to have leaked the news to a colleague, which then ended up in the Times, denied the reports, remarking, "No, not at all.
