week - end......

It has been a busy couple of days here in Lake Wobegon Mendon. Running here and there, doing things that people do ( Few hours in the Dr. Office, I am surprisingly healthy for a middle aged moopah ) and dinner on a weather wise icky Friday night at the lovely downtown townhouse of our pals Jack and Linda, with other folks there as well, the RARE full out Upstate/Finger Lakes/Western New York dinner party!

 The view of The Eastman School of Music from our friends house, always looks so movie set urban. It was above freezing for a day or so, and rained! Making things slippery muddy and just plain gross. Lots of snow gone and all, not such a big deal in the city, but we country mice have MUD!

Dinner was a hearty Cassoulet, which was just perfect for the weather. A lovely time was had by all.
A busy Saturday as we get ready for a week long or so house guest, but would not want you to NOT see what we had for dinner.
