A little Banksy gay love!

The owner of a Brighton U.K. pub, The Prince Albert comes to work a few years ago and finds this painted on the side of his wall. That morning, I am sure he was thinking, "where is my whitewash??". Today he is thinking where is my check book...
From the (London) Daily Mail : "
"One of Banksy's most controversial works could earn a pub landlord a cool £1million (1.6 million US ) when it's put up for auction in America. The painting on the side of Brighton pub the Prince Albert appeared seven years in 2004 and has attracted the attention of art lovers from around the globe. It depicts two policemen in a passionate clinch and has become a shrine for fans of the elusive graffiti artist and a regular stop on Brighton's tourist trail. But, after repeated attacks on the artwork left it severely damaged, the pub owner has decided to sell the original through a New York gallery. After repeated attacks, Steward decided that to preserve the image it had to be removed. In 2008 a specialist art restoration company used chemicals to transfer the image onto a canvas, and the original was replaced with a facsimile, encased in perspex.Lindsay Alkin, director of the Art Republic gallery in Brighton, one of the first vendors of Banksy's work, the sale was a blow to Brighton's cultural heritage."
