Big, Big night at Frontier Field, a crowd of 11,000+ there for the game and festivities. Nice warm summer night, the Rochester Philharmonic played after the game , and then fireworks!. It was Episcopal night AND Polish Night! ( I don't think there was much over lapping of groups), A good night for the WINGS to soar (!). The Norfolk Tide spanked them starting with a six run first. I had not even got back from getting beer and pulled pork nachos and the score was six-zip. Ended up being 11-5, but it wasn't that close.
But like I said, it was a nice night , other than the score. There was a big "CONGRATS NEIL on your Retirement" up on the big board, and Lilly was only lost for a very short time.
