" Not everyone can carry the weight of the world "

130 Jane Street, West Village.

Direct Hudson River Views from six of your ten windows! This incredibly sunny, bright and airy one-of-a-kind West Village loft has it all. Two combined one bedrooms give you two corners with Northern, Southern and Western exposures, Central Air, 10 foot ceilings, beautiful original hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams, exposed brick and a wood-burning fireplace. The layout is currently open, but could easily accommodate two bedrooms. There is one large bath and a modern windowed kitchen with a breakfast bar. This prewar building served as a paper warehouse in1898 and was converted to a co-op in 1976. It is situated on a beautiful cobble-stoned, tree-lined Street steps from the High Line and all the great restaurants and shopping the West Village has to offer. "Good for everyone's favorite gal pal , Kyle, but why is this news ?"

SHE BOUGHT IT FROM MICHAEL STIPE! IT'S MICHAEL'S NEW YORK APARTMENT!!! Go back, look at the pictures .. Michael's stuff ! From Huffpo :

Rachel Maddow has finally upgraded her living situation in New York City--by purchasing a West Village apartment from none other than R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe.
Maddow — who spends weekends in Massachusetts with her partner, Susan Mikula — has been famous for residing in a tiny apartment when she's in town on weekdays to tape her cable news show. She once described it as "the size of a van." But now, Maddow must have decided that she required something a little bigger.
Curbed got a tip that she and Mikula have purchased Stipe's former home in the West Village, for $1.25 million. The listing says that the two bedroom apartment boasts a view of the Hudson River from six different windows, and is housed in a former paper warehouse.
I am a gargoyle.
