HAPPY CANADA DAY, eh ?
It is Canadian 4th of July, only three days earlier and they call it Canada Day, go figure. Whereas we will get a hot dog, a little baseball, perhaps some apple pie, our good neighbours to the North get WILLIAM AND KATE!, yes, the Cambridge's are out to see their Commonwealth!
The young Royal dazzling all of Ottawa in a just-above-the knee, figure-hugging lace dress by fashion golden boy Erdem. Beautiful dress choice aside, this was a well thought out gesture – Erdem who is based in London and shows his collections there was born in Montreal, Canada. His clothes are also tried and tested on first ladies: Michelle Obama and Samantha Cameron are fans.
The Empire State Building, giving a nod to it's taller cousin to the north, the CN Tower, goes all Maple Leaf for the night, ditching last weeks fabulous rainbow!
