Dinner Out!

Dinner tonight at the fabulous downtown townhome of our good pals Jack and Linda. Such a change from bucolic Mendon to the hustle and bustle of being downtown AND on a college campus. They live right in the middle of the Eastman School of Music, behind Neil is a dorm! Kids with musical instruments walking past all night, and there must have been something at the Eastman tonight because lots of kids were all dressed nice and walking that way.

I made the salad. Starting a theme,  Ball Salad.... killer sweet tiny cherry tomatoes from the farmstand, small mozzarella balls, Watermelon balls and black olives ( sort of ball shaped! ) over some arugula/spinach with a quick little champagne vinaigrette

Jack is having some back issues and was not very mobile...a nice casual dinner with good friends.

yes, keeping with the theme, on the way home we stopped and bought Schweddy Balls Ice Cream.
