WE'RE #1
DONE

The War Damn Plainsmen came roaring into the Classic City all puffed up on a six game winning streak , losing only to two teams that both had been in the top four. This visit tween the hedges was just a bump in the road on the way to the Iron Bowl to defeat their arch rival ALABAMA and leap frog everyone into the play off. Fired up and ready....
Maybe we caught them looking ahead, or maybe Kirby finally got some passion in his boys after being so so so deflated by the mighty mighty Vanderbilt Commodores. What ever, we won! The little boost that young coach Smart needed. You can lose to Florida and Auburn.... but not if you add Vandy to the L column . Done and done. and it was a fun game to watch.

Our good pal Jeffery and Giant Baby, who does have a name, Jamie, and can really no longer be giant baby, since a) where as he is pretty darn big for his age, he is no longer a baby, but a very nice child and b) they have downloaded yet another giant baby to take the mantle, were visiting town and came by to see us and watch some football, which confused the child no end. But it was lovely to see them.
What a wack-a-doole weekend of college football it turned out to be with ...#2 Michigan, #3 Clempson and #4 Washington ALL going down . The first time since 1958 that 2, 3 and 4 all lost on the same weekend, with King Bama sitting atop the mountain all smug and shit. I have not been following the down ballot teams this season, since you know , one of them was not UGA, so I have no idea who will be in the play off spots come tomorrow night.
