Old times here are not forgotten, just whitewashed

" The NEW Georgia "

From this mornings AJC : ATLANTA - The portrait of Martin Luther King Jr. now hanging next to the governor's office at the state Capitol is being moved to another part of the building.
Secretary of State Brian Kemp says the portrait needed to be moved to make room for the new portrait of outgoing Gov. Sonny Perdue. Portraits of Perdue and former governors Roy Barnes and Zell Miller will occupy the wall space outside of the governor's office.
King's portrait, which has hung in other areas of the Capitol, will move to the north wing. Kemp says the display will include information about the civil rights movement and King's life.
The portrait is expected to be moved in time for the state's King holiday observance, scheduled for Jan. 13.
If you dont live in Georgia, this may not make a whole lot of sense to you, but for those that know the players : MOVING Dr. KING to hang up SONNY PERDUE......... wft are you people doing down there?? I move away for just a little while and this whole place just goes flat out bat shit crazy?!?
