hazier shade

Woke up this morning to about 5-6 inches of fresh pretty snow, and not as cold - Welcome to upstate New York, where 19º is seen as "not really so very bad"

 Koda was very frisky, running all over the place...

 until, someone turned off the road, and got totally mired/stuck in the snow!

 The four legged Mayor of Mendon, had to check things out!  Neil and I got stuck in almost the exact same spot the other day. I had to go all MacGyver to get us out.

 A truck plowing the parking lot of the Ye Olde Mendon Tavern came over and helped unstick the folks with their " new snow tires and four wheel drive ", ( famously unfriendly finger lake folks talk when stuck in the snow...)

sidewalk guy has not been by yet.....
