Kyle is a big nerd, eh ?

I am such a big nerd I spent last night glued to C-span watching the Canadian Election returns. Yes, mostly just some Empire envy, but it really was interesting, as their " Conservatives " came into full power for the first time , ever. Now, a Canadian Conservative is far, far from some red neck Alabama conservative, but a big change none the less.

The most exciting thing for me was how decidedly low tech the whole night was from the CBC. Just people talking, and saying sort of smart, non bombastic things. No holograms, no whizzing back ground, no tingles up any ones leg. Was sort of like something from the 1950's, I all but expected them to smoke.
