 Morning show airwaves and upper east side drawing rooms are still ALL abuzz over the horrible smack in the face that Mrs. Schlossberg received from St. David of New York. One would think she was dragged out of the post Christmas Barney's Cashmere sale by her hair. Looks like if you are rich and white and live below 125th street, you HATE Governor David Patterson ( not rich, gay and living in Mendon you LOVE him) . Things were not looking good for Gov. Patterson or his new muse, Kristen, UNTILL:

Rod " this is my real hair" Blagojevich goes on the tv and tells some talking head that he is Gandhi, Dr. King and Mandela, damn it! Ok, crazy is as crazy does and that would not have really taken all the heat off of Governor Patterson UNTIL, yet again, Blago goes on with that Diane Sawyer this morning and does what any man facing a little time in Joliette would do : INVOKE OPRAH! 

Yes, Indeed, Mr. Blagojevich goes to New York City today as his impeachment hearing starts in the Illinois Senate to be on GMA and .. The View! ( freaking GENIUS!) - and tells Diane that he was going to pick OPRAH to be the new Senator to replace President Obama because she can help him the most! Let's face it the man knows how to make a head line. 

So , post dropping the O-bomb on the GMA, no one is talking about the David and Carroline story. An Ace trumps a Queen , and in 2009, a Winfrey trumps a Kennedy ( and lets face it , almost anything else, its her world, we just live in it)
