OK, common knowledge, a tiny, tiny bit of a little grey funk post election. Yes, its been months, but lets face it Governing is NOT fun, Campaigning is! As I have stated before, I was so enrapt with the MAJOR league Days-of-our-lives, Dynasty, 90210ness of the whole election process, that I had to go through a little detox.

Over and done with baby love, we are talking about CHINA! Yes, indeed , if there is anything on the planet I like more than early voting in Iowa, it is the glory that is the White House China Collection ( it has its OWN room) . Details are leaking out as to the who, what ,when and where of the coming Obama swearing in. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies will host the luncheon after the event. The luncheon that will be served in Congress's Statuary Hall to President Obama and his family, the Bidens and their family, as well as congressional leaders, justices of the Supreme Court and the pending members of the Obama Cabinet. will be modeled on foods that President Lincoln ate and enjoyed. The first course will even be served on replicas of the china picked out by then First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln ! (President-elect Obama is also being sworn in on the Lincoln bible, there is a theme, there may be hats )
