A MINI VA-CA!

Neil start off with Calamari with lemon, peppers and parsley. Very nice, and I loved these bowls
I had lamb shanks.. half of which are down stairs in my fridge as we type, very good, but rich!
Almond tort of a thing.. biscotti crust, almond pastry cream, praline sort of thing, then almond whip cream... it went fast
A welcoming gift bag is always a nice touch.. a little wine, some cheese and crackers, some sweet.. life is good.
Mini as in less than 24 hours, but a very nice little trip to the Canandaigua Inn with a happy gift certificate in hand!
The view from our room as the sun went down over the lake... a very nice little place, our room had a door out to the lawn and the lake...
The night started out with a wine tasting over at the New York Culinary Center! Learning things AND catching a buzz.... not unlike 1982..
The perfect November cocktail..
Back to our little Inn for dinner, I started off with Lobster Pot Pie.. very yummy, not at all thick like a Newburg, more of lobster in a veggie broth, it was very nice
